The councilman of Coalición Canaria in Tinajo Antonio Morales has decided to reconsider his position and finally will not abandon the act of councilman. This was stated in the Local Assembly of Coalición Canaria, held this Monday in Tinajo.

Morales thanked the support received by colleagues and neighbors of Tinajo and assured before this Assembly that he will make an "effort to reorganize his municipal and personal work, making use of the collaboration and support offered by the colleagues of the Consistory and the mayor himself".

Coalición Canaria in Lanzarote also wanted to thank the colleague for this effort and "Morales' willingness to dialogue and seek alternative solutions to the one initially proposed." The island president of the nationalist formation and mayor of Tinajo, Jesús Machín, has assured that "Antonio has made the best decision possible, making an effort that the colleagues of Coalición Canaria, the neighbors of Tinajo and I myself greatly appreciate".

"We will all lend a hand so that his political and personal work can be perfectly combined," Machín said.

Antonio Morales submitted his resignation last Friday, July 25. However, both his Corporation colleagues and the leadership of his party asked him to reconsider the decision and take some time to think. A week later, Morales has finally decided to continue with his position.
