The State Meteorological Agency has extended the yellow wind warning until next Friday, July 12. A meteorological warning that began this Wednesday and will still be present on the volcanic island for a few days, until Friday morning.
The wind will blow for the days before the weekend with gusts of 80 kilometers per hour, in inland areas and the southeast slope, according to the Aemet forecast. The Agency informs that the probability is 40 to 70%. Meanwhile, as La Voz already announced, gusts of up to 65 kilometers per hour are estimated for Thursday between 12:00 and 18:00 in the afternoon.
For Friday, the sky will be partly cloudy throughout the island during the afternoon and very cloudy in Tinajo during the morning. The wind will blow with gusts of up to 75 kilometers per hour in Tías, from twelve at night until six in the morning in the municipality. Yaiza will also register winds of up to 60 kilometers per hour from 06:00 hours to 18:00 hours.
Regarding the temperature, Arrecife will reach maximum temperatures of 29 degrees and minimums of 21 degrees during that Friday.
