Yellow warning for high temperatures in Lanzarote extended until Saturday

Regarding temperatures in Lanzarote for that day, highs of 32 to 34 ºC are expected in the south of the island.

The State Meteorological Agency has extended the yellow warning for high temperatures until Saturday afternoon. As La Voz published this Wednesday, the heat will be present on the island during the main hours of Friday, July 19.

As the Aemet has warned, the yellow warning will be active this Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the afternoon. Regarding temperatures in Lanzarote for that day, maximums of 32 to 34 ºC are expected in the south of the island. The wind will blow with maximum gusts of 75 kilometers per hour in Tías from 0.00 to 08.00 hours and the sky will be slightly cloudy throughout the island during Saturday.

The weather expected for Sunday comes with slightly cloudy skies throughout the day on the island and gusts of wind of 55 kilometers per hour in Yaiza, Tías and Haría during the morning and afternoon. Temperatures mark minimums of 21 degrees and maximums of 29 degrees in Arrecife.
