The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has established a yellow warning for high temperatures for this Friday in Lanzarote and La Graciosa. It has also extended the warning to the rest of the Canary Islands.
Aemet forecasts temperatures of up to 34 degrees maximum between 11:00 in the morning on Friday and 20:00 in the afternoon of the same day.
Specifically, it estimates that the probability of this occurring is 40-70% and also adds that the most affected areas will be the interior, midlands and peaks facing west and south.
