Water cuts do not cease in Lanzarote. Canal Gestión, the company in charge of water management on the island, has reported this Friday through its website the interruption of supply in five of the seven municipalities of the island.

In particular, in Haría there are three localities affected by these cuts: Mala, Arrieta and Punta Mujeres. To this are added the areas of Teseguite, Tiagua, Muñique, Soo and Tao in Teguise; as well as some streets of San Bartolomé town and Güime in the municipality of San Bartolomé; to which we must add La Vegueta and Los Romeros in Tinajo.

Finally, Canal Gestión has also announced cuts in some streets of the town of Tías and in Mácher.

These supply suspensions are due to "breakdowns or low levels of storage tanks that compromise the supply, as well as supply interruptions made by the electric company that paralyze production in the treatment plants", according to the aforementioned company.
