Unusual rains leave 840 liters of precipitation in Lanzarote

The unusual rains have left 840.22 liters of water in Lanzarote in recent weeks, which has ended up dyed with a green mantle. According to data provided by the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium, the constant rainfall on the island from the beginning of December until last January 5 was distributed among the different municipalities during the passage of storms Emilia and Francis.

The locality that has received the most rain is the **town of Haría**, in the north of Lanzarote. The municipal wrestling field has registered 119.4 millimeters of rain per square meter. Following Haría, also in the north of the island, in the town of **Los Valles**, in **Teguise**, the highest accumulated rainfall for the month has been recorded. The rain gauge installed in its sociocultural center has collected a total of 111.2 liters of rain.After the towns of Haría and Los Valles, in Yaiza, up to 91.80 millimeters of rain per square meter have been recorded, specifically at the **meter** installed at the municipal football field. Along these lines, in the municipality of San Bartolomé, 82.6 liters were collected at the Montaña Blanca sociocultural center, and around 73.8 in Uga, Yaiza.Rain has also been constant at the civil protection headquarters in Tías, where 71 liters of rain were recorded in recent weeks. In this regard, the passage of various storms has also brought rain to Arrieta, with 61 liters, and to Tinajo, with 60 liters.

According to this data, the areas where it has rained the least over the past month have been Arrecife, and the towns of Playa Honda (San Bartolomé) and Costa Teguise (in Teguise).
