About ten days ago, the far-right organization Hazte Oír placed dozens of umbrellas calling the President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, corrupt. The action took place on Bastián beach, located in the surroundings of the La Mareta Residence, where Sánchez was vacationing, as he does every year since he became president. Once again, this ultra organization has used a beach in Lanzarote in its campaign against the president.

This time, it has placed about a dozen umbrellas in a protected area of the island: Papagayo beach, located within the Los Ajaches Natural Monument, in the municipality of Yaiza. As it has spread on its social networks, the umbrellas are the same as those placed in the municipality of Teguise, they had an image of Pedro Sánchez printed on them, the word "corrupt" screen-printed emulating the letters of the classic cinematographic of the Italian mafia The Godfather, and an address to a web page.

That action forced agents of the Local Police and the Civil Guard to move to the place, who identified its authors, without major repercussions. It also aroused criticism among the population because part of the umbrellas ended up flying towards the sea, since this beach is usually quite windy.

Hazte Oír has already financed screen-printed buses with messages calling Pedro Sánchez "corrupt", but it has also paid for tarpaulins transported in jet skis and boats along the Spanish coast. In addition, this adds to an action in which they hired divers to pose at the bottom of the sea with a tarpaulin against the Spanish president and another tarpaulin that hung in front of the Congress of Deputies with an image of the president, in which he attributes his alleged participation in different judicialized cases.
