In the session, which is the first of the school year, the decision adopted by the School Council of the I.E.S. Playa Honda, referring to the request to implement baccalaureate studies in it, has been addressed. The municipal body has unanimously agreed to raise this request to the Ministry of Education of the Government of the Canary Islands.

Another of the aspects discussed and approved unanimously is to send a report to the Education area of the Autonomous Executive on the deterioration suffered by the C.E.I.P. Ajei of San Bartolomé. And the Municipal School Council understands that the building and its facilities are not in good condition to house the practice of teaching due to its age and the number of students who are studying their primary studies there.

In the session it was also determined that the four non-school days of the school year will occur in the week of Carnival and proceeded to report on the list of extracurricular and complementary activities that are being carried out in the educational centers of the municipality.
