The RCNA regrets the passing of Pedro de Armas, "this Saturday morning we received the sad news of the passing of Pedro de Armas Sanginés, who was 75 years old, he suffered a heart attack while traveling in Argentina. Pedro was president of the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife during the years 1991 and 1992".
He is one of the historical yachtsmen of the RCNA, having stood out in the Snipe and Cruiser classes. From 9/6/1996 to 3/10/1997 he was president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote.
President Julio Romero Ortega, on behalf of those of us who make up the family of the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife and especially sailing, regrets his passing and conveys his condolences to Nely Bermúdez and his children Cristina, Margarita, Pedro, Jorge de Armas Bermúdez and the family in general.
Currently his grandchildren Jorge (Koke) and Pablo Padilla Sanginés are part of the RCNA sailing coaching team.
