The music of Gema and Pavel hypnotizes the children of Costa Teguise

For those who do not yet know the Tierra project, it may be difficult to understand why on Friday morning the Cuban duo Gema and Pavel, who have landed in Lanzarote to perform at Sala Tierra, have changed the stage for the classes of the Public School of Costa Teguise. What they were doing was shaping a project that aims to spread culture to different corners of the islands, and especially to the spaces of the little ones.

With this excuse, Pavel's guitar and Gema's powerful and sweetening voice have literally left the young students of Costa Teguise "speechless". An initiative that is repeated every week by different centers on the island, and that, on each occasion, has a different artist.

Gema and Pavel have resided in Spain for years. They have recorded music for film and have collaborated on albums and shows by leading artists such as Ketama, Pedro Guerra and La Unión. Their music, the result of the fusion of rhythms and influences from different cultures, has managed to make them a place in this competitive. "Art benbé", "Trampas del tiempo", "Cosa de broma" or "Síntomas de fe" are some of the works of this couple, arrived from Havana.
