The Teguise City Council presented this Wednesday the second edition of the Erotic Culture Salon, highlighting that it is a festival "unique in the Canary Islands and that rubs shoulders with erotic salons such as those in Barcelona, Murcia or Berlin." Figures from the world of eroticism such as Sonia Baby, "internationally recognized as the best vaginal acrobat", the acrobats Donet Collazo, finalist in Got Talent Spain in 2015, and Javier Gama, a dancer specializing in aerial chains, together with Chiqui Martí, one of the best Pol Dance dancers who already performed in the first edition, will be some of the most prominent guests of the fair, which will also have a high formative and citizen awareness content.
The II Teguise Erotic Culture Salon will arrive next weekend, October 14 and 15, to the historic center of the Villa with erotic shows and proposals that, the Consistory anticipates, "will not leave the attending public indifferent." On this occasion, the Department of Youth and Culture, directed by Olivia Duque, has decided to put a price on the tickets to the salon of 7 euros for one day and 10 euros for two days. 20 percent of the ticket price will be donated to the Amigos contra el Sida association.

"After the success of the first edition, we have decided to bet on organizing this meeting point between the erotic and the cultural again where all types of companies and associates of the sector participate," declared the mayor of Teguise, Oswaldo Betancort, during the presentation. "Everyone has something to say to the public, and they want to transmit the message that this Salon is exclusively for eroticism and culture, not for pornography, and that it is dedicated to an adult audience," added Betancort, who highlighted that "this year as a novelty, the bars, cafes and restaurants in the area will offer an erotic menu to expand the offer of the services sector during the week of the fair as a gastronomic attraction."
With the aim of eliminating "false myths" and "censorship"
"Bringing the erotic as a taboo subject closer, eliminating false myths, clearing up all those questions that worry us and making topics and questions that are normally treated with censorship accessible to the population, is one of our main objectives," said Olivia Duque as head of the area, who also thanked the collaboration of the sponsoring companies of the event: Marylin, Kopas, Grupo Decoó and Apartamentos Santa Rosa.
The sexologist Teresa Muriel and the photographer Montse Huerga attended the presentation of the Erotic Salon, which took place in the garden of the Santa Rosa de Costa Teguise, who highlighted the good organization and programming of this event in Teguise, and encouraged all adults to attend and enjoy the workshops and erotic photography sessions, as well as the rest of the program.
