The Arrecife Youth Center hosted the III Solidarity Conference "Star Wars" on Saturday, in which from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. you could enjoy short film screenings, drawing and hair and makeup workshops, video game activities, talks and exhibitions, all related to this cinematographic saga.
Many people came to the Youth Center during the day in which, to participate in the workshops, a solidarity contribution of a toy or a kilo of non-perishable food was requested, to be donated to the NGOs Afol and Flora Acoge.
The closing ceremony was selflessly performed by the Teguise Music Band, directed by Ayoze Rodríguez, who performed a varied medley of the soundtrack of the film 'Star Wars'.
The III Solidarity Conference was organized by the Department of Youth of the Arrecife City Council, with the special collaboration of Daniel Móises Pérez and friends in a disinterested way. The closing ceremony was attended by the mayor of the Arrecife City Council, Eva de Anta, who was accompanied by other councilors of the Corporation.
