The II Ineduca Educational Innovation Congress will bring together more than four hundred teachers in Lanzarote from this Thursday, in three days dedicated to delving into various innovative teaching methodologies with relevant speakers, both from the state and international territories. This is the second edition of this initiative, which is developed by the Ministry of Education and Universities of the Government of the Canary Islands through the Lanzarote Teacher Center and the Costa Teguise and Guiguan Infant and Primary Education Centers (CEIP), in collaboration with the Teguise City Council and the TDAH Lanzarote Association.

Internationally renowned speakers such as Richard Gerver and experts from different areas of educational innovation such as Rosa Liarte or Ramón Barrera make up the program, which includes conferences, communications and workshops for teachers. Promoting digital skills, integrating co-educational work, promoting didactic innovation as a tool for cultural transformation or applying strategies to improve student motivation are some of the contents that will be addressed in the Congress, which will be held at Cines Atlántida and the Hotel Beatriz Costa Teguise.

From Friday, the Congress will take place at the hotel and will be specifically aimed at teachers, with a program of presentations and workshops that delve into methodological issues for application in the classroom. The official opening of the conference will take place on Friday at 4:00 p.m., with the participation of the Minister of Education and Universities of the Government of the Canary Islands, Soledad Monzón, together with other authorities.

The purpose of these conferences is to offer the opportunity to learn about educational innovation projects and actions at the national and international level, creating a space for debate and exchange of ideas and experiences.

A talk aimed at families

Ineduca will however begin its program this Thursday, with a day aimed at families and the presentation 'Surprise Learning: how to end boring education', by Ramón Barrera, collaborator of the Department of Teaching Innovation of the University of Cádiz. This first talk is aimed at families, the educational community and open to the general public and will address strategies that enrich student learning by enhancing motivation.

Among the issues that the speaker will convey to families on this first day are methodologies to improve the environments of students, in order to encourage dialogue and interaction, the creation of spaces to experience the teachings in a practical, dynamic and fun way, and tools that help, both at home and at school, to involve young people in their own learning process.
