Workshops, children's games, parades, ornithology exhibition, announcement of the shop window competition, Disney Magic show, theater, fashion show with the performance of Aaron Paul, zumba, travel raffles, magic show, and, above all, discounts and promotions is what the VI San Bartolomé Shopping will include. The mayor of the municipality, Dolores Corujo, the Councilor for Commerce, David Rocío, and the Councilor for Crafts, Isabel Sosa, presented this edition of the event this Wednesday, emphasizing its objective of "boosting open commercial areas".
The San Bartolomé Shopping will take place in two days and two locations. On the afternoon of Friday, December 11, the event will take place in Playa Honda, while on Saturday it will move to San Bartolomé. During the presentation, in which the Councilor of the Cabildo Manuel Cabrera was absent, who is also a collaborator in these days of boosting local commerce, the mayor highlighted "how exciting this project is, which grows more and more every year, and whose purpose is to activate and boost the open commercial areas of the municipality".
"For two days, we will be benchmarks for shopping and revitalization," Corujo concluded. The municipal councilor thanked David Rocío for "his enthusiasm" and Oswaldo Machín for "his collaboration, design and staging". She also referred to the Cabildo, thanking the "involvement and participation through the Department of Commerce" of the institution.
David Rocío, Councilor for Commerce, encouraged residents to participate, highlighting the music of this edition, which will bring "three important musical performances" to San Bartolomé, among others, at different times and stages. The councilor also thanked the businesses and establishments of Playa Honda and San Bartolomé for their acceptance, who collaborate in these two days, and invited them to enjoy shopping, music and revitalization "for all ages". "Anyone who wishes to do so will be able to enjoy two days in the municipality in which they will surely not be bored," they also pointed out from the Consistory.
