Lovers of choral music enjoyed the "Voices to the Wind" concert on Thursday night, organized by the Municipal Choir of San Bartolomé in collaboration with the Department of Festivities of the City Council of San Bartolomé, headed by councilor María Dolores Fernández. The cultural group, made up of about 25 women, directed by professor Mariola Ferrer, participates every year with the town's patron saint festivities, organizing a meeting dedicated to choral singing, with the participation of other friendly groups.

For this concert, they had the Marina de Puerto del Carmen choirs, directed by professor Miguel Ángel Cabrera, and the Yaiza choir, directed by professor Nuvi Tavio. The audience was able to enjoy a varied repertoire of songs that are already part of the musical anthology, such as Eres Tú, Yo te diré, La Bikina, Se equivocó la paloma and Viva la gente, among others.

The board of directors of the municipal choir of San Bartolomé, organizer of the "Voices to the Wind" concert, is celebrating its 21st anniversary and with great enthusiasm when the San Bartolomé festivities arrive, they prepare new songs to give as gifts to the residents and all the followers of choral singing. María Dolores Fernández, Councilor for Festivities, presented each of the participating choirs with some Canary Island pintaderas as a thank you for their collaboration with the patron saint festivities.
