Playa Blanca has celebrated the Carnivals. From last Thursday, February 21, to Sunday 24, in the tourist town of the municipality of Yaiza have taken place events related to this costume party. Thus, on the first day of Carnival, from 9:00 p.m. acted in the Plaza Nuestra Señora del Carmen murgas, the Los Guaracheros troupe and the Villapipol batucada.
Also, in the Drag Queen show that was held last Friday, the television presenter Devora Hombres, directed this fun event in which 8 drags participated, including Drag Mandrágora, winner of the Arrecife gala. And last Saturday, at the Gran Coso de Carnaval, which was attended by both island residents and tourists, the murgas, floats and masquerades that departed from the vicinity of Playa Flamingo enlivened the streets of Playa Blanca.
Finally, the last day of this festivity was dedicated to the little ones. A Great Children's Party was organized with the performance of children's murgas.
