Next November 20, at 9 p.m., Pablo Carbonell will perform at the Tías Municipal Theater. The former reporter of "Caiga quien Caiga", leader of Los Toreros Muertos, actor and film director, will perform for the first time in Lanzarote, in a concert organized by Art Bembé, in collaboration with the Tías City Council.
Tickets for the event cost 15 euros and can now be purchased at Luna Record, in Arrecife and Playa Honda, and at the Department of Culture of Tías. They will also be on sale, one hour before the concert, at the Municipal Theater.
In this show, Pablo Carbonell rescues his character "the annoying singer-songwriter" and returns to the road. With his usual irony, he points out that he cannot live without singing, although he does not do it to live, he does it to continue living. According to the organizers, "we are facing a naked showman who finds in the world of entertainment the opportunity to redeem himself from his laziness and, with the abuse of the spectator's patience, create a better world by stretching the tolerance of his audience."
His new songs once again demonstrate that irony and naivety are an excellent material to try to define the universal themes of the human being: loneliness, love, peace and others. Themes as well known as "Mi agüita amarilla" or "Yo no me llamo Javier" will sound accompanied by the irony and humor of Pablo Carbonell.
