Throughout the 50 years of history of Radio Lanzarote, there have been many protagonists who have made possible the presence on the airwaves of the island's pioneering radio station.
Even before the broadcasts began, Francisco González was already the first employee on the company's payroll, working as a sound technician. Half a century later, he has returned to what was his home and has recounted on Más de Uno, presented by Techy Acosta, the vicissitudes of those beginnings and the exciting experiences of the premiere on the airwaves.
Maribel Banderas was the first female voice to burst onto the Radio Lanzarote broadcast. In her case, the coincidences of life brought her in 1972 to Juan Perdomo, founder of Radio Lanzarote. From a "movie-like" conversation outside the bar on Calle México, an experience began that consolidated Maribel's love for the airwaves and marked the first milestone in the rich cast of female voices that have shaped the sound of the station that is now 50 years old.
