Dailo Allí surprises Techy Acosta with a special program about the 50th anniversary of Radio Lanzarote

What was arranged as an interview about the global distribution of vaccines unexpectedly turned into a special program about the 50th anniversary of Radio Lanzarote.

The journalist from Lanzarote, Dailo Allí, currently the global director of alliances at UNICEF, went to the Radio Lanzarote studios to attend an interview with Techy Acosta about the global distribution of vaccines on Más de Uno Lanzarote. What the presenter didn't know was that, instead, she was going to find a surprise program on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the radio.

In gratitude for his first adventure on the airwaves with Radio Lanzarote, the journalist, with the complicity in the production of Carlos Chavaud and David Fránquiz, surprised with a radio jewel, a review of what Lanzarote was like in 1972, when Radio Lanzarote was inaugurated.

As Dailo Allí narrated, fifty years have passed since there were 3 hotels, 7 hostels and 9 apartments in Lanzarote. Also in 1972, César Manrique, who had returned to the Island seven years earlier, inaugurated the Farmer's Monument.

The then German Chancellor, Willy Brandt, enjoyed his vacations in Lanzarote, joining many personalities who visited the beaches and the beautiful landscape of the Island. These are just some of the details of the surprise program with which Dailo Allí has delighted listeners through the airwaves and multistreaming on social networks.

The program, recreated with music and audios, also featured the participation of the former Radio Lanzarote announcer, Maribel Dueñas, ending with the congratulations of the prestigious international correspondent of Radio Televisión Española, Rosa María Calaf.
