Once again, and for the second consecutive year, the Batucada Villa Pipol brought its rhythms to the inhabitants of Murcial, with its participation in the Spring Festivals, declared of International Tourist Interest.
With this event, which is celebrated after Easter, the city of Murcia intends to thank the Murcian orchard for the products it gives and that, generously, are offered in different parades to natives and visitors.
The Batucada Villa Pipol, which was invited by the Baco group and the Asociación Peñas Sardineras, had the honor of leading the traditional Burial of the Sardine, which runs through the most important streets and avenues of the city of Murcia with a distance of approximately 8 kilometers and that culminates with the great burning of said sardine. A celebration that has nothing to do with the traditional burning of the carnival sardine.
On the sides of these streets and avenues, people observe and participate in a spectacle full of light, color and rhythms, through numerous groups coming from different parts of the national and international territory and, above all, from the different sardine clubs, which in their large floats full of toys and soccer balls, make the illusion of all the children who attend this parade a reality.
Four days of celebration, from April 27 to May 1, in which the Batucada has participated playing in each of the parades, street parades and performances and that has served for the group to be invited again to participate in 2012.
