The Three Wise Men have already arrived in Lanzarote after their long journey from the East. Thus, the Arrecife Cavalcade departed at a quarter past six from the Town Hall. The delegation was made up of three fantasy floats, Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar on their camels and groups of children who, dressed in typical clothes, were also riding these animals. Full of color, more than 20,000 kilos of sweets have been thrown from the floats.
Without a doubt, the great protagonists of the day, together with Their Majesties, have been the hundreds of children who, accompanied by their parents, have been along the entire route to enjoy the Cavalcade. Thus, with astonished faces, they did not stop greeting the Kings as well as the Disney characters and big-heads who opened the parade. Everyone had in their memory what they have asked the three Magi. "I want a bicycle," commented one girl, while the boys said that they had asked for trucks "and a game for the Play Station." Of course, what everyone is sure of is that the Kings will bring them everything they have asked for, "I might even find a surprise," said a little girl. As for the coal, everyone assures that they have behaved very well this year. Although maybe the Magi, who know everything, will bring them a piece so that they remember that they must be good in the next twelve months.
