History professor Francisca María Perera Betancort presented her book "Traditional Architecture and Associated Elements of Lanzarote", in an event that took place last Thursday at the Sociedad Democracia de Arrecife. The book consists of 295 pages and covers different architectural typologies, such as religious, military, domestic, public and industrial.
In the properties that are collected in the book, you can find data ranging from their location to the different types of orientation, height, facades, chimneys, patios, balconies and associated elements such as wineries, cellars, corrals, etc. All this illustrated with an extensive photographic collection that allows to follow the architectural structures that are published.
The book allows us to approach the history and heritage of Lanzarote and, for all those interested, it can be obtained at the Aderlan offices in Arrecife.
