Firefighters have also joined the calendar trend. After the Local Police of Arrecife created a "scantily clad" calendar to raise funds to attend an Olympiad in Australia, now the firefighters of the Lanzarote Mobile Park have posed openly to obtain financing for the AFOL association, of relatives of cancer patients.
The photos were taken last November, although the almanac has not been made public until now because the firefighters did not have sufficient funds to take it to the printing press. Now it is already being printed and it will be released in the next few days.
The initiative aims to raise money to donate to the Association of Oncohematological Patients of Lanzarote. This organization was created five years ago by a group of parents from Lanzarote, whose children have suffered or are suffering from this disease.
