The Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium has held a training day with students and teachers of the Higher Cycle of Emergencies and Civil Protection of the CIFP Zonzamas, focused on fire extinguishing and rescue techniques, from an eminently practical point of view.
The Security Councilor, Marcos Bergaz, has indicated that training in a field such as security is "important", and has transferred to the students and teachers of the fourth and fifth cycle basic information about the work, composition and history of the Consortium, "which every year carries out more than a thousand services for security in Lanzarote and La Graciosa".
For his part, the tutor, Fernando Pablos, stated that this collaboration between both entities allows "to enrich the training received by students who will soon become new professionals in a constantly expanding sector such as security and emergency".
