International chef Jos Andr arrives in Lanzarote to shoot a documentary about Canarian gastronomy for the Discovery Channel, which will probably be broadcast at the end of this year.
Throughout these months, the prestigious chef has traveled to several places in Spain, showcasing the local cuisine. The island has been chosen by Jos Andr to showcase the gastronomic delights of the Canary Islands. For now, the locations chosen for filming have not been revealed. What has been known through social media is that this Saturday he went to enjoy a delicious meal at the Brisa Marina restaurant run by Juan "el Majorero" in Playa Blanca.
Jos Andr comes from Madrid where he offered dinner at the Prado Museum to the NATO leaders, a menu that started, according to La Provincia, with an appetizer of cod, orange, and beetroot, followed by lobster gazpacho with summer vegetables with the aroma of basil and extra virgin olive oil of the Arbequina variety.
The main course was slow-cooked shoulder of lamb with lemon puree and a dessert, which, under the name 'Flavors of Madrid', combined Chinch anise, Aranjuez strawberry, wafer, and violet caramel.
