Temperatures above 30 degrees and haze from this Friday in Lanzarote

The State Meteorological Agency explains that, despite the high temperatures, "they are not significant enough to consider this episode as a heat wave"

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts temperatures above 30 degrees and the presence of haze from this Friday in Lanzarote and La Graciosa.

On Friday, there will be cloudy intervals in the north with clear skies opening in the afternoon. In the rest, slightly cloudy with cloudy intervals at the beginning and end of the day and the presence of medium clouds in the afternoon. There will be a possibility of haze at altitude. As for temperatures, they will be on the rise with minimums of 20 and maximums of 30, although in inland areas they may be higher.

For its part, the wind will blow moderately from the northeast, occasionally strong in inland areas of the southern half where locally very strong gusts are not ruled out in the afternoon.

As for Saturday, partly cloudy or clear skies are expected with some intervals of medium clouds. There will be haze on the island and it will mainly affect inland areas. Temperatures will continue to rise moderately, with minimums of 21 to 23 degrees and maximums between 32 and 34 degrees. The wind will blow moderately from the north with intervals of strong.
