Last Friday, December 26, one of the most supportive events of Christmas in Arrecife took place at the Teatro Cine Atlántida. For the fifth consecutive year, the Arrecife Polyphonic Choir held a concert whose proceeds go entirely to the island's Cáritas Parroquiales. In addition to the Arrecife Polyphonic Choir, Juanjo López, Daniel Moisés and the Calicanto group performed.
About 6,000 euros have been raised to date, although it is not the final amount since another part remains to be counted that corresponds to row zero for those who wanted to collaborate but could not attend the event. The parish priest, Miguel Hernández, recalled that the money raised will be distributed among the four premises that Cáritas has in the capital.
An event that had the collaboration of the Arrecife City Council, the Cabildo de Lanzarote and private companies on the island.
