A 69-year-old Lanzarote native died this Wednesday from coronavirus in Lanzarote, which thus adds the fourth death of a patient with Covid-19. The man was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the Molina Orosa Hospital and had previous pathologies.

The first death from coronavirus registered on the island was that of a 71-year-old German national who resided in Yaiza and the second, that of an 80-year-old British man. Both also had previous pathologies, unlike the third deceased, an 80-year-old Lanzarote native, who was only at risk due to her age.

These three deaths occurred almost a month ago, specifically between March 24 and 27. With the new death registered this Wednesday, three men and one woman have died from coronavirus on the island.
