The Ministry of Health has reported a new death linked to Covid in Lanzarote, which is the third this week. The deceased was 65 years old and was admitted to the ward at the Molina Orosa Hospital.
In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, the island has already recorded 67 deaths, 13 of them in this sixth wave.
The previous two were reported on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. One of the deceased was 84 years old and the other 94, and both were also admitted to the Hospital.
