Some of the visitors who come to Las Grietas have already been fined for parking in a prohibited area these days. Precisely for parking on the left side of the LZ-35 road, which connects Montaña Blanca and the La Candelaria area in Tías. As the newspaper La Provincia has advanced, the drivers have not heeded the signs and neither the continuous line that prevents crossing lanes.

In addition, there are many pedestrians who rush to cross the road with the danger that this entails, and could be run over in the attempt. Many visitors and even families with children come to admire the natural attraction on the island, which has become popular thanks to the publications of photographs and videos on Instagram.

According to what the newspaper has learned, the Civil Guard has begun to fine users who have decided to break the rules, although neither the amount nor the number of fines that have been carried out has been specified.

A situation that had already been denounced for weeks from La Voz. A reader of the newspaper echoed the hundreds of people who left their cars in unauthorized spaces, to cross the road or through a waterway to reach this space. "It's crazy. There is no one here with signs that say don't go through here, don't climb here or don't throw shit," the man revealed.
