The Civil Guard of the Main Post of San Bartolomé has proceeded to arrest two people, whose initials are P.F.P. and J.F.F.P., residents of Lanzarote, as alleged perpetrators of a total of five crimes against property, divided into three crimes of robbery inside inhabited homes and two petty theft offenses.

The operation began as a result of a series of robberies, in homes and garages, that occurred in the municipality of San Bartolomé since the beginning of October, the most serious of which occurred between October 6 and 10, when supposedly P.F.P. and J.F.F.P. entered two inhabited homes, breaking the window panes, and stealing various jewels and cash.

With the investigations carried out by the agents of the Main Post of San Bartolomé, it was possible to gather the necessary evidence and indications to identify the alleged perpetrators of the events, who were arrested on the 11th for the crimes of robbery with force and petty theft offenses.

The Civil Guard, with the collaboration of the Local Police of Arrecife, was able to recover one of the watches stolen from one of the homes, since one of the detainees, P.F.P, was carrying it at the time of his identification, when he was walking through one of the streets of Arrecife.

The Civil Guard has handed over the recovered watch to its owner. The two detainees were placed at the disposal of the corresponding Duty Court of the town of Arrecife.
