The search for Pedro Robayna Hernández, which began last Sunday, has been extended to Fuerteventura. Pedro Robayna was last seen on Saturday night at the awards ceremony of the deep-sea fishing tournament held in a tent on the dock of Puerto del Carmen.

His family and friends, who are collaborating in the search, reported the disappearance on Sunday. Since then, this 62-year-old man, an employee of the Tías City Council, has been searched for both by sea and by land.

The search was extended this Tuesday to the Bocaina Strait, reaching the Isla de Lobos and Corralejo, and this Wednesday it will continue along the coast of Fuerteventura, both by air and by sea. Thus, the GES helicopter and two Salvamar boats will be in charge of combing the area.

For its part, the Civil Guard is also carrying out searches on land, while keeping the investigation open into other possible causes of the disappearance.

In any case, Pedro's friends believe that one of the most likely hypotheses is that he slipped and fell into the water in Tiñosa, where he was last seen.
