The fog forced several flights to be diverted this Wednesday from Lanzarote Airport to other aerodromes in the Archipelago. For one hour, between nine and ten o'clock at night, four planes had to be transferred to other destinations, according to sources from Aena to La Voz.
After activating the warning due to low visibility due to fog, two flights from national destinations (Madrid and Oviedo) and two inter-island flights (Gran Canaria and Tenerife) had to change their course. Thus, three of them were diverted to Gran Canaria Airport, while the fourth traveled to Tenerife South Airport.
Looking ahead to this Thursday, the airport has resumed its activity as normal, according to Aena.
