Six people have been arrested for allegedly committing a rape on a woman in Playa Blanca. The victim reported these events to the Civil Guard of this town in the Lanzarote municipality of Yaiza hours later, as La Voz de Lanzarote has learned.
The events occurred recently when the woman was leaving her work and heading to her home. As she left her job, she was surprised by a group of six individuals, apparently of Moroccan nationality between 26 and 30 years of age, who put her in her vehicle and took her to the home of one of the aggressors. There, according to the victim's testimony, she suffered a rape.
After this woman reported these events at the Civil Guard barracks in Playa Blanca, as well as a crime of robbery with violence, the agents launched a device to locate the alleged aggressors. Finally, these were arrested by the police and placed at the disposal of the court.
Two of the detainees have been sent to prison, while the other four must appear before the Court of First Instance and Instruction Number 1 of Arrecife twice a month.
