Police evict squatters from a house near Charco de San Ginés

The eviction took place by court order after a complaint from the owners of the property, as confirmed by the City Council

Agents of the National Police and the Local Police of Arrecife have evicted this Friday the squatters who resided in a house on Ingeniero Paz Peraza street in Arrecife, in the vicinity of the Charco de San Ginés.

The eviction, as pointed out to La Voz from the Arrecife City Council, occurred by court order after a complaint from the owners of the property.

In the plot next to this occupied house, there was a fire in February last year, for the extinction of which the firefighters needed six tons of water and 10 liters of foam. The plot, as reported then by the Security and Emergency Consortium, "contained a lot of garbage."
