A 39-year-old man has been transferred to Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital after his house in Arrecife suffered a fire. The affected person presented a less serious smoke poisoning.
Around 6.34 hours an alert was received in the Coordinating Center of Emergencies and Security (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands informing of a fire in a ground floor house in María Morales Topham Street, of Arrecife.
Firefighters have been in charge of releasing a person who was inside the house, as well as extinguishing the flames that have affected the kitchen and ventilating the property affected by the smoke in its entirety. For its part, the sanitary personnel of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) have attended to the affected person, who was later transferred to the Molina Orosa Hospital.
Police resources have collaborated with the extinction teams and have secured the area. Civil Protection has collaborated with the firefighters in extinguishing the fire.
