Maritime Rescue has rescued this Tuesday a sailboat that had been adrift in Playa Blanca. A single occupant was inside this 12-meter-long recreational boat and both have been towed to Marina Rubicón.
The Coordinating Center for Security and Emergencies of the Government of the Canary Islands was the one who gave notice to the Maritime Rescue Center in Las Palmas at 5:30 in the morning that there was a sailboat that needed assistance.
The Salvamar Al Nair vessel has come to the area and carried out the tow. The sailboat has finally been taken to the Marina Rubicón marina, where it has been docked.
