A man had to be rescued by firefighters after suffering a fall below the Castillo del Águila in Playa Blanca. The accident took place at approximately 10:39 a.m. this Sunday, when CECOES was notified.
Local Police, Civil Guard agents, an SUC ambulance, and the Emergency Consortium were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, the firefighters verified that the affected individual was in a difficult-to-access area. The man presented pain and deformity in his right leg.
The healthcare personnel, with the help of the firefighters, proceeded to immobilize the leg and then evacuate him on a rescue stretcher to the ambulance with the collaboration of the Local Police and the Civil Guard.
Finally, he was transferred in a basic ambulance to the health center of the tourist town.
