Firefighters have rescued a hiker who had an accident on the access path to the Volcán del Cuervo in the municipality of Tinajo, as reported by the Emergency Consortium. The tourist had fallen and suffered a fracture to her left ankle.
Around 9 a.m., after being alerted by CECOES, firefighters and an ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service were dispatched to the scene.
Emergency personnel arrived at the scene and, after immobilizing her ankle, transferred her to the area's parking lot, where paramedics took over her care. She was later transferred to Molina Orosa Hospital.
