National Police agents have arrested two people in Arrecife, a 30-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman, as alleged perpetrators of coercion and public disorder. The man also has a long criminal record.

The National Police of the capital of Lanzarote launched an investigation following the knowledge of the innumerable calls to the emergency services, all of them false and to the same address.

These calls were made from different telephones by two people, reporting crimes such as injuries, gender violence, fights and emergencies such as fires.

It was found that these two people made these calls to harm a neighbor, causing on the one hand damage to the emergency services, and on the other hand anxiety disorders to the victim, who had to be assisted several times.

After being identified, they were located and immediately arrested as alleged perpetrators of coercion and public disorder.
