A taxi caught fire while traveling on the LZ-67 this Friday morning, near Yaiza, as reported by the Security and Emergency Consortium.
After being alerted around 7:30 a.m., the Consortium firefighters went to the scene, confirming upon arrival that the vehicle was emitting smoke from the engine area. Thus, they proceeded to extinguish it with water and disconnect the battery, ending the service.
As confirmed by the Security and Emergency Consortium, the taxi was not carrying any passengers when the fire occurred.
