PIECES OF CHICKEN WITH HOOKS INSIDE HAVE APPEARED ON HER TERRACE

Pieces of chicken with hooks have appeared on her terrace. Raquel Rodríguez is convinced that it is a neighbor of hers, who claims to have also "threatened" other residents in the area for the same reason?

A resident of Playa Honda has filed two complaints with the Civil Guard after experiencing two episodes in which she believes someone tried to "kill" her dog. Raquel Rodríguez found "pieces of chicken with hooks" on her terrace on two occasions and, according to what she explains in the complaints, she believes they were thrown by a neighbor. In addition, she claims that this same person has also "threatened" other neighbors with "killing" or "poisoning" their pets.

This neighbor filed the first complaint on April 6 with the Civil Guard. In that complaint, she stated that she had found those pieces of chicken with hooks and that she "presumed" that they had been "thrown" by a neighbor "with the intention of killing her dog." This neighbor, according to what she tells La Voz, had filed a complaint with the City Council because the dog "supposedly barked every night." However, she claims that no other neighbor has complained about the noise. Rodríguez, who lives in that house with her daughter, also stated in the complaint her fear that those pieces with hooks "would reach" the girl's "hands."

The next day, Raquel expanded her complaint, she explains, after her neighbor "threatened" her. According to what she told the Benemérita, she explained to a friend on the phone what had happened and that she had filed that first complaint. After hanging up the call, she "heard her neighbor say to her 'And be careful with your daughter'." As a result, she pointed out that she was "afraid of living in her house because of this person" and that the girl and the dog that they "tried to kill" would sleep at her mother's house.

"From that day on, I had to do a renovation at home, the dog was at my mother's house until last week and after this weekend, on Sunday night to Monday he did the same thing again in another part of the land, which he still has access to," she says. Faced with this situation, she again reported it to the Civil Guard this Monday. In the statement she made to the agents, this resident of Playa Honda narrated other similar episodes, such as an occasion when they threw water at them from her terrace and assured them that she would continue "doing so as long as the dog keeps barking." This same thing has been told this Tuesday to the agents by her mother, who has testified as a witness, assuring that Raquel has "no problem" with other neighbors. According to what is stated in that statement, the mother of this neighbor "fears, because this person is acting with impunity."

"This is turning into a nightmare"

Raquel Rodríguez is convinced that the "only possibility" is that it is this neighbor who throws the pieces of meat with hidden hooks and insists that other neighbors have received threats. She also emphasizes that he is the "only" one with whom she has had problems. According to what she explains in the complaint and has also told La Voz, both her home and that of her neighbor are interior, so they cannot be accessed from the street. Thus, only he and another neighbor could access it and, according to her, this third person "is aware" of what is happening and has offered her help.

"I don't have neighbors above either, there are no more options," she reiterates. She also asserts that "there is nothing personal." She also regrets that this neighbor has "never" approached her to talk to her "directly or to call her attention." "He only dedicates himself to threatening hidden and doing these things at night," she adds, assuring that the situation "is turning into a nightmare."

According to what she explains to La Voz, "this person has already had discussions with other people for threatening to poison their dogs" and, she even points out that some of them have indicated that they intend to "report him." According to Raquel, the person who used to live in her house "threw pieces of chicken at him but without a hook," which could be "poisoned," and "batteries." "Another neighbor had a note on his car written on a computer saying that since he couldn't poison him, he could poison his dog," she adds. She also alludes to residents of the urbanization in which this neighbor lives, which is attached to hers but on the adjacent street, and who have assured her that "poisoned dead cats have appeared and others that disappeared."
