According to the owner of the fruit shop, it was about 6:45 p.m. when the individual entered the establishment and tried to force the cash register. "As he couldn't open it, he looked for the employee, who was sweeping, and grabbed her by the arm, threatening her with a broken bottle neck. He tugged her and forced her to go behind the cash register to open it, taking the money," he said.
In total, the robber took "about 280 euros approximately", according to the owner of the Jaysa Fruit Shop, who stated that the employee did not suffer any physical damage, but that "she had to be taken to the emergency room because she suffered an anxiety attack". "The poor woman was scared," he said.
The events have already been reported to the National Police, according to the owner of the fruit shop, who also indicated that "it is not the first time" that they have suffered a robbery in this establishment. "In the three stores we have, the same thing has happened to us," said the owner of the store.
