A 67-year-old woman of British origin was found floating face down in the pool of a tourist establishment located in the Nazaret area, in the municipality of Teguise.
At 2:50 p.m., agents of the Local Police alerted the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (Cecoes) 1-1-2, reporting that a woman was floating face down in the pool and, after removing the affected person, they verified that she was in cardiorespiratory arrest, so they performed basic resuscitation maneuvers on her.
A vehicle from the Local Police transferred a doctor from the local health center to the scene of the incident who, with the collaboration of the SUC health personnel, confirmed the death of the affected person.
The Civil Guard instructed the corresponding proceedings.
