A 27-year-old man has been imprisoned after being arrested while transporting 100 capsules of cocaine on December 13 at the César Manrique - Lanzarote airport, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health.
The agents, seeing that he was trying to evade them, proceeded to stop him, and requested his documentation. Given his incoherent answers, the police officers transferred him to the Police facilities for a more exhaustive control.
After the superficial security search and the search of his belongings, 100 capsules of cocaine with a total weight of 1.8 kilograms were found in a bag.
After the corresponding procedures, the detainee was placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority, who ordered his immediate imprisonment.
