The Civil Guard has already located 50 immigrants from the boats that arrived this Thursday morning in Caleta Caballo in the municipality of Tinajo and Caleta de las Escamas in the municipality of Haría. According to the Benemérita, in the boat that arrived in Caleta de Caballo, 28 men have been located, of which 10 have declared to be minors. Regarding the Haría boat, 22 occupants have been located, of which two have declared to be minors.
The first of the boats arrived around 9:40 a.m. this Thursday near Caleta de Caballo, one of them in a wheelchair. With the help of two neighbors, the located immigrants have been transferred to the Soo Sociocultural Center, where Civil Guard, Red Cross and Emerlan personnel have intervened. According to what they have confirmed from this last NGO, one of the immigrants had to be treated for a dislocated shoulder.
The second boat was found on land, without an engine and without gasoline. In addition to the Local Police, Local Police, Civil Guard, Emerlan and Red Cross have traveled to the place.
