The National Police has arrested 28 members of an organized group dedicated to the introduction and distribution of cocaine in Gran Canaria, Tenerife,
Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. At the time of the investigation, 7,725 grams of cocaine (130,000 doses) were seized; 12,000 grams of phenacetin, a complete laboratory for the manipulation of cocaine; molds and logos for the elaboration of blocks; 2,250 euros, five vehicles, a short weapon and 27 mobile phones, among other effects.
This group had connections in Madrid and Ciudad Real. This action has been carried out in three phases, resulting in the total arrest of twenty-eight people: 11 Spanish; 12 Colombians; one from Guatemala; two from Ecuador; one from Venezuela and one from Paraguay.
The detainees together with the police reports were placed at the disposal of the court, the investigation being currently finalized and all its members in prison by order of the Judicial Authority.
