The Haría City Council presented the Christmas race Haría Music Race Night this Wednesday. This sporting event, which combines sport and Christmas, will take place on December 24, starting at 6:00 p.m.

The presentation ceremony, which was held in El Charcón de Arrieta, was attended by the mayor of Haría, Alfredo Villalba, and the Councilor for Sports, Alberto de León.

The Councilor for Sports, Alberto de León, explained that the event will have three modalities, depending on the distances to be covered, so there will be distances of 1.6 kilometers, four kilometers and six kilometers.

All of these will run between the towns of Arrieta and Punta Mujeres, with the starting point and final finish line at La Garita Beach. To culminate the event, participants and the general public can enjoy a musical performance.

Similarly, the mayor of Haría, Alfredo Villalba, highlighted that in addition to the race, there will be other musical activities, lights and other surprises whose objective is to celebrate the Christmas holidays as a family and encourage commerce and the local economy in Haría.

Likewise, the purpose is to have a leisure and sports event in the municipality itself to promote culture and ensure that citizens do not have to travel to other parts of the Island that day.

Registration is now open on the Tripasión Eventos portal, as well as on the profile of the Haría Music Race Night itself. Bib numbers for participants can be collected on December 22 at the Arrieta Sociocultural Center.
