The artist Momo Cortés and his rock band will offer a tribute to Queen this Friday in Yaiza. The event will take place at 9:00 p.m. in Puerto Calero. The invitation is open to the people of Lanzarote and tourists who want to enjoy the musical legacy of Freddie Mercury made spectacle by the interpretation of Momo Cortés, singer and pianist who has reaped more than 15 years of success touring Spain with his particular tribute to Queen, one of the largest and most beloved groups in history.

The concert is a leisure initiative of the Yaiza City Council for these Easter holiday days that is sponsored by the Tourist Centers of the Cabildo de Lanzarote and the support of the company Calero Marinas.

The mayor of Yaiza, Óscar Noda, publicly thanks "the effective response of the Tourist Centers and its counselor Ángel Vázquez to this cultural proposal that rounds off a great week of shows for our neighbors and visitors of Yaiza and Lanzarote, which we can enjoy on Wednesday in Yaiza of the play 'Killing Jesus' and on Friday of the tribute to Queen. It is an attractive offer for everyone".

Momo Cortés and his band already left a magnificent impression on their premiere in Playa Blanca last year. The artist prefers to speak of tribute and not of tribute to Queen because the spirit of the show is to remember the feeling of Freddie Mercury and the work he did with his band.

Everything is ready for Bohemian Rhapsody, We Are The Champions and We Will Rock You, among other Queen jewels, to sound in Puerto Calero. It is a two-hour concert that could be extended if the public wants more. Bryan May, guitarist and composer of Queen, said that "Momo has a blatant quality, knows no fear and sings like the devil..."
