The judge of the Court of Instruction number two of Arrecife has decreed the entry into provisional prison, communicated and without bail to the detained after attacking and sexually abusing a 19-year-old girl in Arrecife on November 23.
The 29-year-old Moroccan national is charged with sexual assault and injury.
The inhibition of the case to the Court of Instruction number 1 of Arrecife was also agreed due to the date of commission of the events that allegedly occurred on November 23, 2021.
The attack with a knife took place on Manolo Millares street in the capital of Lanzarote and began, according to the Local Police, when a man entered a house through the window and attempted to sexually assault a 19-year-old girl.
The alleged aggressor, who was arrested by the Local Police of Arrecife, grabbed the victim “by the neck” and began to touch her breasts, as stated in the complaint. The young woman tried to resist and the detainee threatened her with a knife, causing cuts to her left leg.
